Herbs For Athletes

April 13th, 2013

The Amazon Herb Company offers many unique herbal formulas that are beneficial to athletes of all types – World Champions and Guinness Record Holders to weekend warriors.

The herbal formulas of particular interest to athletes are Warrior™, Recovazon™, and Sumacazon™.

Warrior™ and Recovazon™ are endurance and recovery formulas based on ancient Shao Lin Monk martial arts before-and-after combat formulas.

Sumacazon™ contains plant sterols, minerals, electrolytes and many amino acids, the essential building blocks of the body. Suma, one of the four herbs in Sumacazon™, was labeled the “Russian Secret” when it was learned that supplementation with Suma had given the Russian Olympic team a competitive edge in the 1976 Olympic games.

These formulas comprise the Amazon Herb Peak Performance Pak™ a complete nutritional program to help you achieve your highest genetic potential… for endurance, stamina, strength, focus and rapid recovery.

Kung Fu Champions

The formulas in the Peak Performance Pak™ powered Pat Brady to the 2002 World Super Heavy Weight Championship in full contact Kung Fu fighting… after only one year of training!

Brady successfully defended his title in 2003, and also won a Gold Medal in T’ai Chi Push Hands. On November 6th, 2003, in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Pat Brady won the last match of the international competition and clinched the Gold Medal for Team USA, denying the host team from Brazil the gold.

Brady was introduced to the Amazon Herb Formulas by his instructor, Master Marilyn Cooper, who holds a National and World Title in T’ai Chi and a National Gold Medal and a Grand Championship in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu.

Master Cooper wrote of Brady on her Little River Kung Fu website:

Aiding him mightily were herbs from the Amazon rainforest that helped him recover between matches, the last of which went on past midnight.

The combined wisdom of the ancient Shaolin monks and specific plants which Brady took for six months prior to the fights were used extensively and continuously on him before and after each match.

The difference between how Brady looked and behaved when he first stepped down from each fight and to when he stepped up to each successive one could only be attributed to great conditioning, great coaching and the herbal combinations of the Shaolin monks, which helped him to regain his mental alertness and awareness.

These specific botanicals healed, strengthened and grounded Brady throughout his training and extensively between matches.

Amazon Herb formulas powered 16 sled dogs in March 2000 to the first complete-team finish at the world-famous Iditarod in over 20 years!

These herbs enabled Guinness Record holder Steve Fontaine to double his workout regimen to train to water ski across the Atlantic Ocean!

Medicinal Rainforest Herbs

April 13th, 2013

Bayou Herbs’ mission is twofold. First, to create awareness of the disastrous consequences of the destruction of earth’s remaining rainforests. Towards that effort we organize and provide all financial support for the 50 mile Race for the Rainforest.

Second, to promote a solution to rainforest destruction – medicinal rainforest herbs. Consider:

  • 70% of the 3000 plants the National Cancer Institute has identified as active against cancer cells are found in the rainforest.
  • The Amazon Rainforest, the “Lungs of the Planet”, produces more than 20 percent of the world’s oxygen.
  • One-fifth of the world’s fresh water is in the Amazon Basin.
  • Over half of the world’s estimated 10 million species of plants, animals and insects live in the tropical rainforests.

Yet we continue to allow our rainforests to be destroyed at the terrifying rate of 1 1/2 acres per second.

Clearly, the only way we can end the ruthless and greedy destruction of our remaining rainforests is to make them more valuable alive than dead.

Rainforest land used to raise cattle is worth $60 per acre; if used for timber the value is $400 per acre. In both cases the rainforest is destroyed.

However, rainforest land used for sustainable, renewable resources, such as medicinal herbs, is worth $2,400 per acre, provides employment and income for the indigenous people, and leaves the rainforest intact.

At the current rate of destruction, earth’s remaining rainforests will disappear completely within 40 years… http://www.msnbc.com/modules/terminalplanet/forest/forest.htm

You can help stop the insanity by simply using sustainable, renewable products from the rainforest, and encouraging others to do the same.

The healthful products from the Amazon Herb Company help save the Amazon Rainforest, while preserving the culture and dignity of the indigenous rainforest inhabitants.

The Amazon Herb Company

The Amazon Herb Company produces Rainforest Bio-Energetics®, a line of superior herbal supplements derived from organic herbs sustainably harvested in the nutrient-dense virgin soil of the Amazon Rainforest.

The Amazon Herb Company has currently partnered with 14 Amazon communities who are sustainably harvesting nutrient-rich botanicals. So far, this partnership has helped preserve over 300,000 acres of land, and provided life-changing herbal formulas for thousands worldwide.

  • Amazon Herb Reserva Natural. Their own private 4000 acre natural botanical reserve in the heart of the Peruvian Rainforest complete with a medicine trail to see the botanicals growing wild. All Rainforest associates who win the “Discover the Treasure” contest will visit this reserve.
  • Rainforest Conservation Fund. The fund supports the Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo, 800,000 acres reserve in the Peruvian Amazon and helps the native people develop income streams by finding markets for their local species of fruits.
  • Rainforest Preservation Foundation. To date the Foundation has placed over eight million acres of rainforest into trust and is training people in numerous villages in the proper farming and harvesting methods.
  • Manos de la Tierra. (Hands of the Earth) Rainforest co-op provides a showcase and market for traditional crafts, textiles and instruments. This preserves the traditions, culture and heritage of Rainforest villages and peoples.
  • Institute of Botanical Exploration. Under the leadership of Dr. Sydney McDaniel, this research group is organizing and compiling the field notes taken by ethnobotanist, Nicole Maxwell. These field notes covering 40 years will be published and this medicinal knowledge of Amazonia preserved.

You are invited to join in the adventure of a lifetime. By becoming an Amazon Herb Company Associate, you’ll also help win the battle of saving the Rainforest!
